The Second Wind Band is a regional ensemble founded in 2002 that brings together musicians ages 40-90, from beginners to formerly‑retired players, for music and camaraderie. Led by retired band director Christie Aleshire, the Second Wind Band performs free concerts all over the place; check out their upcoming dates and locations:
Thursday, April 23, 2pm at Luther Memorial Home, 750 Main St E, Mayville, ND. Our director, Christie Aleshire, has our 30 piece ensemble prepared to share a variety of classical to contemporary arrangements. Concert is free and open to the public.
Thursday, April 30, 6pm at Popplers Music Store, 1720 S Washington, Grand Forks, ND. There will be prelude music. Our director, Christie Aleshire, has our 30 piece ensemble prepared to share a variety of classical to contemporary arrangements. Concert is free and open to the public.
Tuesday, May 5, 2pm at Hatton Prairie Village, 950 Dakota Ave, Hatton, ND. Our director, Christie Aleshire, has our 30 piece ensemble prepared to share a variety of classical to contemporary arrangements. Concert is free and open to the public.
