North Dakota Today | Forensic Science Crime Scenes and Veggie Van

Thank you, friends, for watching and working for North Dakota Today. It was a lovely rainy day to talk about a criminally fun (and free) event thanks to a UND student group, as well as a van delivering North Dakota produce around the state.

I promised a calendar to the UND Forensic Science Society’s upcoming events; here you be:

I also promised more information on Strengthen ND, Strong Farms, and the Veggie Van. Here are a few details from the fantastic Ann Olson:

Strengthen ND works in many ways to support those across North Dakota, especially in small communities. We were able to support so many different producers across the state this year, not only with our internship program, but purchasing produce and other local food items from established producers and interns alike to increase their sales options. We are dedicated to supporting rural North Dakota.

We will be offering our Prairie Producer grants this fall (watch our social media and website) for grants geared to increase the ability for local producers to purchase equipment and supplies to facilitate growth in their operations.

We will also be opening our 2027 applications for the Strong Farm Incubator in Baldin later this fall, so any potential producers or those who are looking for more land access to grow with support can reach out to us!

I hope you enjoy this week’s North Dakota Today segment, which you can watch by clicking below. Have a great week!
