Have you ever wanted to live out your dream of running free in a field of flowers – which you can then cut and take home so as to remember the beauty and magic for days (or years, if you are a dried flower person) to come? Of course you have; everyone has.
The third annual Flower Fest will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Ada, Minnesota.
Thank you to the kind Alyssa Johnson of Blyss Flower Farm for so many great details:
Can anyone attend?
Yes! Everyone is welcome – there will be fun for all ages. Only service pets though, please.
What should a first-timer know?
Come enjoy a night on the farm with live music, cut-your own bouquets, kids play area, a nature path scavenger hunt, food trucks, local vendors and more! Plan to bring the whole family for a night of fun, flowers, food and fellowship! Dress for outdoor play and bring your own bug spray. There is a $5 entrance fee per vehicle. We expect parking areas to fill up quickly so please follow our volunteers as you arrive for direction on parking. We will have reserved parking areas for those needing close parking and can provide golf cart rides to those who need assistance.
Can you take as many flowers as you want?
We have three you-pick options:
Small Cup (zinnia field only) $5 – perfect for littles!
Medium Cup (zinnia field only) $15
X-Large All Access cup (access to ALL cutting areas) $30
People can fill the cups as full as they’re able as long as the stems are in the water.
We host other smaller you-pick events throughout August and September as well as a dried flower workshop in October. We share our flowers through bouquet subscriptions, bouquet drops at local businesses and at our local Farmers Market. We also use our zinnia field to support local nonprofits by donating flowers for use as fundraisers!
What are you most excited about?
I’m most excited to watch people connect on the farm. We love facilitating fellowship opportunities here and allowing people to connect in a unique space where they can also admire the beauty of creation as they cut flowers, shop locally crafted or locally grown goodies while supporting other local businesses and enjoy good food. Our first two events were such a joy!!
Note:
Due to the growth of this event and the feedback from photographers regarding how challenging it is to capture photos without others in the backgrounds, we will NOT be offering mini photo sessions this year. Instead, we plan to host alternate events for mini photo sessions – stay tuned! This way you can let yourselves relax and enjoy all that this evening has to offer, let the kids get dirty and get their faces painted instead of trying to stay tidy for photos. P.S. We love volunteers willing to help us make it a great night. Reach out if interested!
Engage with our Facebook event and follow us on Facebook and Instagram @blyssflowerfarm.
Have fun!
