If you follow me on social media, you know that I had the good fortune to meet the knights from the North Dakota Renaissance Fair on Monday (I was leaving North Dakota Today and they were minding their own business having a cup of coffee and I forced them to talk to me and then take a picture – see below). They were the nicest people, and they told me they do REAL JOUSTING (no breakaway lances), and that this is the last weekend of the Renaissance Fair, and so I asked (demanded) they send me some info so I could share it with all of you – and, because they were the nicest, awesomest people, they also sent me two tickets to give away to you fine folks.

Tell us all about the Renaissance Fair.  What can visitors expect? 

Step back in time and immerse yourself in a world of knights and ladies, jugglers and minstrels! Witness thrilling full contact jousting matches, enjoy delicious food, and experience the sights and sounds of the past! There are music acts, magicians, pirates, jugglers, sword swallowers, local theatre productions, sirens, belly dancers, Birds of Prey experience and so much more!

Do you need to dress up?  CAN you dress up?

You do not have to dress up, but we encourage it!!

What are the details?

Our last weekend is this weekend – August 12th and 13th open from 10am-6pm. The Nobles Feast starts at 7pm. Parking is free!
