“Stuff that makes you say, “Oh, for nice”

Nice news of the day – March 21, 2019

Did you know that for the last 20 years, the Ukrainian Cultural Institute in Dickinson has offered a Lenten lunch every Friday?  It includes cheese buttons, pierogies, fried and baked fish, garlic beans, green beans, salad, deviled eggs, pickled beets, and desserts.

And did you know today’s news is about reading, a good driving, and a whole lot of canned goods?  Read on.


Author Francie Berg, the Dakota Buttes Visitors Council, and the National Bison Association have donated copies of two of Francie’s books about bison to the Adams County Library and Hettinger Public School. (Adams County Extra)

Businesses in Minot donated 16,000 pounds of food and $5,500 to local food pantries as a part of a challenge by the Minot Area Community Foundation. (Minot Daily News)
