Bismarck’s Britta Curl is a hockey player at the University of Wisconsin, and is the eighth Badger in history to score 20 or more goals as a Freshman. (KFYR TV)

First Lady Kathryn Burgum was the speaker of honor at the Sober St. Paddy’s Day event, which raised funds for Hope’s Landing – a sober-living home for women. (Dickinson Press)

Francie Berg made the March 21 news for donating her books to the local schools and library, and now one of those books has been awarded the Western Writers of American 2019 Spur Award for Best Western Juvenile Fiction. (Adams County Extra)
