Howdy – My name is Amanda Kosior and I’m the Amanda behind NorthDakotaNice.com. I launched this website in 2018 because I like people and want to share your stories. Most people don’t think the kind and wonderful things they are doing are all that great…and if there’s one thing I can’t abide, it’s humility. Wink wink.
If you’re wondering why I named it North Dakota Nice, click here. If you think I look familiar but you’re not sure why, it could be because I gift wrapped your packages at my family’s clothing store, Silverman’s, back in the 80’s and 90’s, or it could be because you recognize me from my weekly segment on the morning show, North Dakota Today, or it could be because you’re on this website and my face is plastered all over it.
Please, please send me your stories. Tell me about your neighbors, your coworkers, your family, and yourselves. The number of times I have said, “YES THAT IS EXACTLY THE TYPE OF STORIES I WANT FOR GOODNESS’ SAKE” when someone has asked, “I have something, but I’m not sure it’s nice enough?” is around 200 billion and counting.
