It’s springtime, and you know what that means! DAYS FOR DAYS. No one is happier than North Dakotans when they are hosting their small town community’s annual “Days” (or “Fests” or the like). June’s events are below; if you have one to add, send it to me via my contact page.
Artfest: June 7-8, 2025 at University Park in Grand Forks
Hosting nearly 100 artists, artisans, food vendors and musicians, ArtFest caters to more than 20,000 art lovers and festival-goers from around the region. Hours are Saturday from 10AM to 6PM and Sunday from 10AM to 4PM. Click here for more info.
Lindaas Barn Dance: June 7 and June 28, 2025 near Mayville
Remember when I talked about the Lindaas Barn Dances on North Dakota Today? Of course you do! As you know, the Lindaas Barn Dances are free old-fashioned family-friendly dances hosted over the summer by the lovely Lindaas Family. Food, coffee, and pop are provided, the musicians change on the reg, and the dances go from 7:30PM to 10:00 so you have plenty of time to get there. Speaking of dancing and time – you don’t need to know how to dance to attend a Barn Dance; you only need to know how to have a good time. Click here for more info, and see below for the schedule.

Climax Small Town Saturday: June 7 in Climax, MN (North Dakota-adjacent)
I took my family to this last year and it was awesome. Click here for more info, and see below for the schedule.

Emmons County Ag Day: June 13 in Linton
