“Stuff that makes you say, “Oh, for nice”

North Dakota Today | Addison Pringle and FAARMS

Thank you, friends, for watching and working for North Dakota Today. It was a brisk (a chance of snow is on the horizon!) morning to talk about Addison Pringle, my Nice Person of the Week, as well as a great organization growing local farmers and farms.

If you’re interested in learning more about FARRMS, signing up for an upcoming event, watching some of their past webinars, finding a local farmer, or applying for financing, click here. you can also find them on social media under the handle @farrms.nd.

To follow Addison as she supports veterans and active duty servicemen and woman, click here (and please be respectful of the fact that she’s a 15-year-old girl). In her own words, here is why she does it:

“A military family is a family of patriots. I am proud to say my family of patriots goes back six generations of serving our great country. My biggest hero of all is my dad. He served for the United States Air Force building many bombs and missiles, that have been dropped in multiple war zones off B-52’s and fighter jets all while deployed to protect our great country. The military has given so much to my family and I want to give back to my community. To help spread the work of volunteering, especially with veterans throughout Minot, across North Dakota and the United Sates. This is why I chose my CSI:  Project R.E.D. (Remembering Everyone Deployed) Supporting our Troops and Veterans. I want to not only thank our current active-duty military but also ensure our veterans have support after they have served our great nation.”

I hope you enjoy last week’s North Dakota Today segment, which you can watch by clicking the image below. Have a happy week!
