Here are some facts about Gackle, North Dakota: The town was named after farmer George Gackle. In 2020, the population was 281. And, on September 28, 2024, Gackle will be home to the 2nd Annual Gackle Duckfest Vendor & Craft Show from 11 AM to 4 PM.
In the words of Gackleian (Gackler?) Brandy Krackle:
“This year we have plenty of new faces participating, which is exciting! New faces equal new businesses! Expect an indoor, fun atmosphere with a variety of shopping to be had. We also actively support the local businesses of Dani’s Place, Coteau Cottage, and The Freez. The Freez is planning to have a special for the day!
[A note from Amanda: The Freez is a North Dakota-famous restaurant and ice cream shop. Be sure to make this part of your stop. OH, and if you can’t make the Vendor & Craft Show try and make the Gackle Market.]
A list of the current (as of August 30) vendors is below, and they are adding more every week. The Show will be held at the Gackle-Streeter Public School at 300 2nd Avenue East.
Have an awesome time!
