Did you know that North Dakota produced a record-high 543 million bushels of corn in 2023? And how many of those bushels did you eat…one? You can get those corn cob-eatin’ numbers up at the 10th annual Emerado Corn Feed on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
What goes on at a corn feed? Well, corn eating, for one. Last year they served 1,200 ears of corn (and 34 pounds of butter) to more than 1,250 attendees. There will also be a bunch of vendors, a car show, live music, a corn shucking tournament, a corn eating tournament, a water balloon toss, a rock, paper, scissors competition, and a corn hole tournament. Did I mention the free corn? Also, free corn.
You can learn more on the official Emerado Corn Feed website or Facebook page or by driving out to Emerado an seeing it for yourself.
Have fun!
