“Stuff that makes you say, “Oh, for nice”

North Dakota Today | Thompson Public Schools and Gary Urness

Thank you to the wonderful people who work for and watch North Dakota Today – it was a perfect morning to talk about a fifth-grade class at Thompson Elementary taking storytelling to new audiences, and a gentleman in Grand Forks named Gary Urness who knows a lot about birdhouses and license plates.

I’ll post the direct link when the Thompson Schools stories go live; in the meantime, you can learn more about the school by clicking here.

If you’re looking to purchase a Gary Urness birdhouse, visit The Clockwerks in Fargo or All Seasons in Grand Forks (or you can email me and I’ll get you in touch with one of his daughters).

I hope you enjoy this week’s North Dakota Today segment, which you can watch by clicking the image below. Have a great week!
