Thank you to the wonderful people who work for and watch North Dakota Today – it was a sundoggy morning to talk about Mark Bernston (one of West Fargo’s best) and an upcoming luminary hike at Fort Stevenson State Park!
As you’ll hear in my segment, Mark provides guitars to students who are unable to access them on their own. If you would like to help him in his endeavors, please email him here.
Also, there are lots of awesome activities coming up at Fort Stevenson State Park! You can keep on top of them by following them on Facebook, and by marking your calendar with these dates (bring $7 or an annual pass for your vehicle, and remember to dress appropriately):
- February 24, 2024: Full Snow Moon Hike – this is the luminary hike
- March 17, 2024: Leprechaun’s Gold Geocache
- April 8, 2024: Maple Sugaring Day
- May 4, 2024: This is the hike with colorful lights and fairy houses
- May 18, 2024: They are attempting to break the Guinness Book record for S’more making
- June 22, 2024: Stick Horse Rodeo (WHAT THAT IS SO FUN)
- August 31, 2024: Lantern Hike – participants use decorated paper lanterns to guide the way
- October 28, 2024: Halloween Hike with family-friendly decorations
