A few weeks ago, I talked about how the students at Winship Elementary in Grand Forks have been sharing smiles with their weekly trips to visit the residents of St. Anne’s Living Center. Click here if you missed it (or to watch it again).
And guess what? These kids (and teachers and staff!) continue to do awesome things for the community. I wanted to share their latest venture on what was called “Wellness Wednesday.” On October 25, 2023, the ENTIRE school went outside and did good. The older kids raked the yards of neighbors who were in need of assistance, and the younger children picked up trash and swept around the school and St. Anne’s. At the end of the day, the neighborhood was a more beautiful place to be, and the school had such a great time that they have decided to make it an annual event. Check out a couple of photos from the day, and consider having your own personal Wellness Wednesday in the future!
