Did you know that the Minot Symphony Orchestra hosts an annual Secret Garden Tour, at which members of the orchestra play for visitors at seven beautiful private gardens – and this year’s event is July 10?

And did you know today’s news is about a big birthday party, a school district solution, and a redesignation?  Read on.


Does North Dakota have a lot more centenarians than other states?  Feels like it. (KVRR)

I really appreciate how North Dakotans work towards solutions, instead of admiring problems.  Mandan Schools is working on a day treatment program to decrease out-of-school suspensions and to help abused/at-risk children earlier. (Bismarck Tribune)

No one loves their locally-based military like North Dakota, and so as a Grand Forkser, I’m pretty happy about this. (Grand Forks Herald)
