“Stuff that makes you say, “Oh, for nice”

Nice news of the day – February 7, 2019

Did you know that the Rosebud Visitor Center in Valley City is home to a “Railroad RV” made specifically in 1881 for S.R. Ainslie, Railroad Superintendent, who wanted a car to live in as he traveled around North Dakota?

And speaking of the railroad, today’s nice news is about just that – and a children’s theater company and a quick-thinking savior.  Read on.

When I was a kid, the constant refrain was always, “There’s nothing to do.”  Now there are a million things for kids, including a “high energy” theater program for kids 4-16 in Minot. (Minot Daily News)

North Dakota grew by rail, so it’s fitting that 16 new Google Chromebooks are choo-chooing their way to Hettinger courtesy of BNSF. (Adams County Extra)

Thank goodness for people like Terri Young. (KFYR TV)
