“Stuff that makes you say, “Oh, for nice”

Nice news of the day – December 10, 2018

Amanda Prentice, Jill Crawford, and the Sparrow Ministry put together backpacks for children transitioning to a foster home to make the move easier.  They also organize laundry baskets full of important goodies for 18-year olds that have aged out of the foster system.  The MOMS Club of Williston is now helping them out, and it would be great if every community in North Dakota did the same. (Williston Herald)

A very important step forward: six rural North Dakota schools now have mental health counselors on staff. (KVRR)

This post is for my husband, who loves WWII stories.  Four of Hettinger’s veterans shared their memories to the Adams County Extra. (Adam County Extra)

Hi, I’m Amanda Kosior

North Dakota Nice is filled with stories about people being awesome because I love people – and also a weekly story about me because I love me, too. I hope you find something that makes you feel good, and I especially hope you have a great day.
