Nice news of the day – November 28, 2019

Happy Thanksgiving!  I’m so thankful to be connected to all of you wonderful people!

And today’s news is all about other things for which I’m thankful: great schools and great kids.  Read on, and have a beautiful day.

I’m thankful for teachers every day, and here’s yet another reason why: A group of Bismarck faculty and staff made 30 Thanksgiving dinners for low-income students. (KFYR TV)

The most important takeaway for me is that the New Rockford-Sheyenne School has a Kindness Club.  We all need Kindness Clubs, and not just at school – at work, at church, at the library, everywhere. (New Rockford Transcript)

My co-workers designed and built three Little Free Libraries about 10 years ago, and I know how much work goes into them (and I work for an architecture firm, so we had a team of architects and builders to make them).  I’m beyond incredibly impressed that 8th-grader Madison designed and built her own mini library all by herself.
