Schools in Mandan, Bismarck, and Minot tried out a new program this year. Called Raising a Reader, it allowed families with kids 0-5 years old to check out a bag of books from the school every week to help spark the joy of reading. And, unsurprisingly, it’s been a huge success. (KX Net)
