Congratulations to UND faculty member Susan Felege, who has been named Advisor of the Year by the national Wildlife Society for the SECOND time in three years!
And Happy Friday! Today’s news is about a ton (more like 3.5) of donations, Bill Brien, and the Story of the Week. Read on.
I’m Jewish, and one of our charges is to leave a corner of our “field” for anyone who is hungry to come and take it. GleaND is doing exactly that in Fargo – and taking what they collect (so far it’s 7,000 pounds) to the Great Plains Food Bank. (Bismarck Tribune)
Bill Brien has used his artistic skill to donate more than $4,000 to the Bismarck Cancer Center in honor of his late wife, Geri. (KFYR TV)
Story of the Week: This is SO COOL. I’m not going to tell you what it’s about because it’s a short story and you should read it. Okay, I’ll tell you one thing – it’s located in Huff. (Bismarck Tribune)
