Nice news of the day – September 9, 2019

Did you know the popular Magic City Express – the narrow gauge train at Roosevelt Park – is now back on track?  It had been derailed after the 2011 Flood; but thanks to a new engine and paint job, is chug-chug-chugging along.

And did you know today’s news has three story about traveling to help others?  Read on.


Fargo’s Faith and Jon Moore sold everything they owned so they could travel around the country to raise $50,000 for St. Jude’s. (KVRR)

If you’ve followed this site for a while, you know the Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue folks in Rolla have traveled around the country to help animals during a natural disaster.  And, with the hurricane, they are off again. (Valley News Live)
