Nice news of the day – July 8, 2019

Did you know the Dakota Zoo now has three new three-month-old wolf pups named Shanook, Fang, and Canyon?

And did you know today’s news is about an arboretum, a walleye bottom bouncer, and a knight?  Read on.


After the group of volunteers that cared for the Myra Arboretum got to old to help out, a new group stepped in and have “SPRUCED” the place up with over 450 new trees.  Bonus: you can now use the space for weddings and family reunions. (Grand Forks Herald)

Bob Meter is being inducted into the North Dakota Fishing Hall of Fame for starting the Bis-Man Reel & Rec Club and the Take-a-Fish Fishing Program – oh, and for inventing the Meter Bottom Bouncer. (Minot Daily News)
