Nice news of the day – May 29, 2019

Did you know Mandan Public Schools has been named one of the Best Communities for Music Education in the country?

And speaking of amazing schools, today’s news is about districts in Minot, Grand Forks, and New England – with a bonus story about Williston!  Read on.


This is basically my oldest son’s dream last day of school. (KX Net)

Talk about hands-on learning: High school students in Grand Forks built a sold a 3,200 sf split-level home that sold for $390,000 – and in past years, the house sold before the kids finished building it. (Grand Forks Herald)

The most impressive part of this is the ability of third graders to “freeze” into wax. (New England Extra)

While not necessarily nice, I think it’s incredibly commendable that Williston High School created an in-depth program on the Holocaust to ensure it never happens again. (Williston Herald)
