- Three hundred years ago before we were married, my husband and I stopped in for a drink at the Hillsboro bar. It turned out to be karaoke night, and it also turned out that Hillsboro is full of people with absolutely beautiful voices. What’s that have to do with the news? Well, Bob and Kat Brossart have been traveling around Pierce County (they stay within an hours’ drive of Rugby) to host karaoke parties for the last 18 years.
