Nice news of the day – November 16, 2018

It’s National Adoption Month, and the North Dakota Heart Gallery (founded by Michelle Kommer) hosted a gala to find forever homes for 27 children in the foster system.  This gallery is so effective that of the 238 children featured, half have been adopted.  I can confirm the quality of the gallery because we saw a part of it at our own adoption ceremony and it took most of my effort to drag my dad and husband out of there without another child.  (Fargo Forum)

The Badlands Crime Stoppers are back, and if they get custom jackets consider my volunteer application sent. (Dickinson Press)

Last week, the Williston Community Library invited regional residents to bring in any of their own images and objects of historical significance to be entered into the record of North Dakota history (and everything was returned after cataloguing). (Williston Herald)
