Nice news of the day – November 13, 2018

North Dakota AWESOME: A group of fifth-grade girls at Missouri Ridge Middle School is working hard to provide a hot lunch for all of the kids at school. (Williston Herald)

Looking for ways to be even nicer?  Burleigh County has 120 kids but only 53 foster homes.  Twenty-three of those children had parents who terminated their parental rights, meaning they are available for adoption to families with love to give.  If you have thought about adoption or fostering, now is the time.  If you know me personally, you know that my husband is probably already in the car on his way to Bismarck to pick up a team of children after reading this. (MyNDNow)

I’m pretty sure Dan “Knotts” Binde is wearing Zubaz in the headline picture of this article, which should make you want to read it on that fact alone. (Grand Forks Herald)
