I think it should become a thing for everyone in North Dakota to dress up on Halloween. The Downtown Williston Trail of Treats, now in its 31st year, is making that happen by inviting kids to trick-or-treat through all of the businesses downtown. If you’re going to hand out candy, you should probably also dress up! (Williston Herald)
Bismarck High leadership students carved over 1,300 pumpkins for the “Unparade” at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch in Bismarck, a fundraiser for the School District’s mental health programs. It’s an unparade because you walk, and the pumpkins don’t (phew!). (KFYR TV)
What do you do with old cell phones and eyeglasses? Do you throw them away? Or are you like me and just toss them in a pile in your closet? Well, it’s time for some fall cleaning, because the Mandan High School Leo Club trick-or-treated for used glasses, hearing aids, and cell phones. While the actual trick-or-treat is over, you can still mail them to a host of businesses, listed in the Bismarck Tribune article. (Bismarck Tribune)
